We're just one calendar page away from Laconia Christian Academy's Annual Holiday Gala and Fundraising Auction and we're looking forward to seeing you there! November 17th is just around the corner and you might be wondering what all the buzz is about. The LCA Holiday Gala and Auction is a major source of funding for the school's Tuition Grant Program each year. Through your generosity and enthusiasm, last year's banquet and auction raised more than $60,000. This year we've set a goal of $75,000 because each dollar is an important step toward making Christian education affordable for families in the area.
At LCA, we love to invest in our students because we know the most important part of any building is the foundation. Thank you for sharing the LCA vision for building strong, Christian foundations for more and more students.

The volleyball season is drawing to a close, but the team has two more exciting events to look forward to. First, this Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, both the JV and Varsity teams will gather in the school gym, but this time it's for a Volleyball Season Wrap-Up party and team photos. Players should bring a snack to share and bring their team jerseys to wear for the team photos. Team jerseys will be turned in to coach Stace by 5pm.
Many thanks to Kim Rietkerk, Zoe Jamison, and Stace Hendricks for all of the coaching hours, leadership, and inspiration this season. And a van-load of thanks to Sylvia McCarthy for scheduling (and re-scheduling) all of the games!
The second item on the calendar is the game for volleyball team vs. parents/family. On Friday, October 28, 2016. The volleyball team will defend their title against moms, dads, brothers, sisters, cousins...Be there for all the action, starting at 4:00 pm!
Lower School Harvest Party
Calling all Lower School families for a night of fall fun!
Families whose kids are in Preschool through Grade 6 are invited to attend this year's Harvest Party on November 4, 2016, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Firewood
If you're interested in purchasing firewood this fall, please contact Rick Lewis at (603) 630-4253 for details. The current price for the cut-split-seasoned wood is $250/cord. The trees were harvested from LCA property, and the proceeds benefit future outdoor campus enhancements.
