Our Hospitality Chair needs our helpHome made or store bought desserts are both OK, and can be dropped off by your student in the morning and left on the cart or table labeled "Desserts for Teachers," just beyond security.

This Week @ School
We have a busy week coming up: SLT meeting, PA General Meeting, PA and SLT elections, report cards, parent teacher conferences, faculty reception, and open school, not to mention the many other events related to all the clubs and pubs etc.

Report cards for the first marking period which ended on October 18th are due out on Wednesday, October 26th. Your child should bring home a printed copy. Or you can view it at eSchoolData.

SchoolDude, CrisisManager - The manual addition of parent data is going on now. Unfortunately, this is a long job and we are asked to be patient while it happens.

The Appropriations Committee is working on the funding applications received from the clubs, pubs and teachers. Once each request has been reviewed, a decision will be made about how much money will be made available to each applicant.

Stuy-PA.org Makeover
One of our talented parents has tackled doing a long needed makeover of the Stuy-PA.org web site. Not only is the site being populated with relevant up-to-date information, but the design is getting a color change to make it easier on the eyes. The PA Calendar is also fixed so that a download to your phone or Google calendar will sync at the right time zone. We are working to make Stuy-PA.org a go-to place filled with useful information and links. Please go and check it out now! The makeover work will continue...

Our students and school need and depend on your financial support. So much of what makes Stuyvesant special - extracurricular activities, academic enrichment, extended library hours, the Writing Center, translation resources, tutoring services, and so on - are very difficult to fund without your help. Your support makes these vital “extras” possible. Donate online by clicking the link above. Your child will ultimately be the beneficiary of whatever you can give.
