Our 'default' western way of life seems to be an active one; one in which we are always 'on,' always thinking, worrying or searching for more information. What gets lost in the 'busyness' of this is the contemplative self; a passive awareness of life that gives rise to inspiration, deeper dimensions of experience as well as greater connection with ourselves and others.
Our summer conference on the interconnectedness of life provided us with an opportunity to explore what decades of research have shown: connecting with our heart energy is the key to living in alignment with ourselves and the world around us.
Including your heart (and it's energy field), encourages your 'coherence' both with the greater whole and within yourself. Your actions will be in unison with and supported by, the flow of life, letting you experience a more fulfilling life: one that is truly satisfying for you, your soul and the greater good.
By practicing what we explored during the conference, you'll strengthen the connection between your mind and heart to help you if worry gets the best of you, or if your mind gets caught up in the 'what ifs'. Tuning into our heart invites greater wholeness, which in turn helps to guide us in our decisions and actions and into our innermost essence.
Practice it regularly, and anytime you:
- feel stuck
- feel reactive
- find moments of awe and wonder in life (to activate the power of appreciation)
- with affirmations to increase the results
