Our 2016 Fall Festival was once again a great success!! So many families, businesses and other members of the community pitched in and turned out for this fun event. The net profit raised this year was approximately $6,600! The PTO Board will be meeting to discuss exactly how these funds will be allocated this year.

Fall Photos
We are so excited to have photographer A.K. Vogel coming to Mead’s South campus on the morning of Tuesday, November 1st, to take Fall Photos! A.K. Vogel has provided her services to Mead in the past, and the quality and variety of prints are very impressive. Individual and sibling photos will be taken. A.K. Vogel’s work can be seen on her website: www.akvogel.com
There is a $15 sitting fee per child and per sibling group that is due prior to photos being taken. (ex: siblings wanting individual and sibling photos pay $15 per child + $15 for the sibling group; 2 children = $45). Payments for sitting fees must be paid in advance to Mead, including the morning of Nov. 1st Proofs will be made available to parents via email approximately 1-2 weeks after photos are taken. Packages start around $35 per child, with print and/or electronic delivery options. Once proofs are available, price lists and order forms will be sent home with your child for ordering images.

Parent Teacher Conferences
On Friday, November 4th, school will be closed in order to facilitate Parent Teacher conferences. To sign up for a conference, please access the parent sign-up sheet for your child's class from the list below. The Parent Teacher conference provides an opportunity for you to learn more about what your child does each day in his or her classroom and ask any questions you may have about their classroom experience and development. The teachers look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
