Notes from the Office:


Mass Tomorrow (and next Tuesday!):
We will have Mass tomorrow morning at 8:20 AM. Please remind your students to dress in Mass attire. (No jeans or t-shirts with writing.)

Students and staff will attend Mass on Tuesday, November 1st for All Saints Day.

Red Ribbon Week Dress:
Friday: Black and Orange - "Let's Black Out Drugs!" (Students may change after Mass.)

K4/K5 students may also bring their costume to change into that afternoon.

4th Grade Bake Sale Tomorrow:
The students in 4th grade will be hosting a bake sale for the student body and staff members tomorrow. Baked goods are $0.25-$1.00. Apple cider will be $1.00.

Proceeds from the bake sale will support "Operation Jario" in Guatemala. 

Soles Walk Update:
We still need help in order to reach our goal of $5,000. Even though the walk has come and gone, donations may still be collected for Soles through the first part of November. We encourage your students to contact friends and family to see if they will support Catholic education. Remember, 100% of the donations received go directly to the school!
 
Safeguarding Workshop for Volunteers, Coaches, and Teachers:
St. Kilian School and Parish will offer a Safeguarding Workshop on November 8th for community members who would like to volunteer, coach, or teach are day school and/or religious education students. All volunteers need to attend one workshop in order to volunteer. Please stay tuned for more information regarding the workshop and registration information.

Parent Awareness Sessions About Suicide:
On Saturday, November 5th from 1:00-2:30 PM and Thursday, November 10th from 6:00-7:30 PM in the School Cafeteria.

The session will include talking about suicide in general terms, including behaviors and warning signs that may indicate issues parents need to address.

Speakers will be from Washington County Human Services Department will lead the discussion during this session designed for all parents.

St. Kilian Student Council will sponsor a food drive from November 1st-10th.

Volleyball Game Notice:
Mrs. Trimberger had announced that there would volleyball games this evening. She was mistaken! There are no volleyball games tonight.

Band Poinsettia Fundraiser:


St. Kilian Student Ski Club:
Little Switzerland wants to show you how easy and fun it is for ­­St. Kilian students to learn to ski through their 4-Time Learning Program. Our kids will learn the correct way to enjoy a lifelong sport, which will keep them fit and active each winter. Little Switzerland’s program is designed to truly teach the sport. They have a wonderful group of Instructors who will work closely with our kids to ensure they are developing the basic skills needed to successfully learn the sport of skiing & snowboarding. The program welcomes students ages 7 or older to participate.
