GLOBAL ALLIANCE OF NGOs FOR ROAD SAFETY

Newsletter | 28 October 2016

Dear Friends,

At the recent Habitat III Conference the New Urban Agenda was adopted. It is a nonbinding framework that outlines intentions and visions for safe and sustainable cities. However, its success will ultimately depend on willing and proactive governments to create effective public policies that make cities safe and more sustainable. It requires that civil society push for the Agenda. One of the Alliance's contributions to the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals is a series of courses that presents best practices in key risk areas. These courses are open to all and illustrate our members' hard work and victories for safer and sustainable roads. Check them out on our website.

Yours Sincerely,
Lotte Brondum
Director
