Here's what's happening at Nativity.

Priesthood Sunday

This weekend is Priesthood Sunday.  We would like to take a moment to thank Fr. Patrick and Fr. John for their faithful service to Nativity as well as to the greater Church, and we'd like to encourage you to do the same!  Thank you also to Fr. Tom McDonough and all priests who have served at Nativity in some capacity.  May God bless all priests, and here's to many more!

Urban Catholic Lord's Day

Can't make heads or tails of this upcoming election?  Join fellow young adults next Sunday (11/6) for "Voting from a Catholic Perspective" with Jason Adkins (pictured at right). Confessions start at 4pm and a social hour will follow mass.  Come #jointhemovement!

Solemnity of All Saints

Tuesday, November 1 is All Saints Day, a solemn feast and holy day of obligation, which means all Catholics are to attend mass that day (or the evening before).  All Saints masses at Nativity will be celebrated at 5pm on Monday and 7am, 8:15am, 5pm, and 7pm on Tuesday.  See you there!

Sunday's Readings

In the First Reading, the book of Wisdom offers lovely a reflection on the goodness of God and his love for us.  In the Second Reading, St. Paul prays for the Christians in Thessalonica that they may know and carry out their vocation from God.  In St. Luke's Gospel, Jesus calls Zacchaeus, a sinner, down from his tree and dines with him.
