First Give Awards 2016
What a night!
On the 17th October 2016 we hosted our second annual Awards ceremony at the stunning City Hall. Here we celebrated the most incredible young people who have made a difference through First Give in the last academic year. We were delighted to be joined by our supporters from across the education and charity sectors who mingled with inspirational young students and their teachers. We were lucky to have Dame Julia Cleverdon, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, Baroness Pitkeathley, Kim Roberts and Eliza Rebeiro as some of the speakers during this special event. Thank you to everyone who came and we hope you are excited for next year!

Partnership announcement!
We're so pleased that the Jack Petchey Foundation have extended their support of First Give for the 2016/17 academic year. They now support us to deliver the programme in 60 schools in London and Essex, reaching over 10,000 students and re-granting £90,000 to local charities! You can read more about this partnership here.
First Give are now operating in Wales!
First Give is international! We are so pleased that we are running the programme in South Wales this year. Leon, the Programme Manager for Wales says "It's an exciting time for us at First Give. We are launching in Wales with 25 First Give schools in year one, which means we will be in over 10% of Welsh secondary schools and working with thousands of students".

Spread the word!
First Give has a handful of places left for schools to sign up the programme in the 16/17 academic year in London and South Wales!
If you know any teachers who would be interested to give this opportunity to their students, please pass this message on! Click here to see a short video of a teacher describing the impact of the programme on their students.
