WEE STORIES
The Man Who Followed His Legs (and kept on walking)

28 October, Dalry Town Hall
29 October, Johnstonebridge Centre

A celebration of human resilience, following the story of two young Scottish coalminers during World War One.

Funny, entertaining and moving, Wee Stories bring their distinctive brand of storytelling to this rich production, based on the involvement of McCrae's Battalion, or the Hearts football Battalion, in the Battle of the Somme in 1916. Video images, puppetry, music and performance vividly bring alive the enormity of this first global conflict for a new generation of young people. Suitable for ages 10 to adult.

COMPANY OF WOLVES
A Brief History of Evil

4 November, Wigtown County Buildings
5 November, Theatre Royal, Dumfries
A DUET ABOUT THE LIES WE TELL EACH OTHER AND OURSELVES
Created and performed by Ewan downie and Jonathan Peck Hilarious and mesmerising, terrifying and absurd, A Brief History of Evil is a duet about lies and where they can lead us. Who hasn’t embroidered the truth, or pretended to be someone they’re not? When all the lies are stripped away, who is left? When we look in the mirror, who looks back? Which version is really us? A Brief History of Evil is a white-knuckle ride to an unknown destination: what happens when we listen to the voices inside us? Or don’t?
“Sinister yet playful… sympathetic and witty despite the undertow of horror.” Gareth Vile The List
“Lighthearted yet devilishly dark… A powerful exploration of our inner evil.” edinburghguide.com
