SID Conference Call Series
Dear SID member,
Greetings from the SID secretariat.
I would like to inform you that the next SID network call will take place on Tuesday November 8th, 2016, H. 13:00 UTC (15:00 Rome, 09:00 Washington, 16:00 Nairobi, 18:30 New Delhi). Please check your time zone here http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
The call – which will last for one hour - will share updates and information about the second session of the IGWG for the elaboration of an international legally binding instrument on Transnational Corporations (TNCs) and other Business Enterprises with respect to Human Rights, which is currently taking place this week, 24-28 October, 2016 at the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Members of the Treaty Alliance will share their point of views about strengths, challenges and way forward for the treaty process and explain why a binding treaty to regulate TNCs abuses of human rights is key both from a legal and political perspective.
The conference call is open to all SID members and is conceived as an interactive space for regular discussion and exchange which shall build on and gain from the richness of scope, participation and diversity of the SID network.
Please RSVP to azarro@sidint.org
I hope to see many of you joining us!
