As CEO of advertising agency Echo-Factory and as an organizer for Innovate Pasadena Friday Coffee Meetup—both in Pasadena, CA, people often refer to me as a “creative entrepreneur,” though I’m still trying to understand what that means. Mostly, I like working on business opportunities and figuring out ways to breathe life into them. Advertising is more than optimized pay per click and Facebook ads. Halloween Office Trick-or-Treating!
In celebration of Halloween, we will be doing an office trick-or-treat! If you are in an office you can participate by hanging a jack-o-lantern on your window which we will provide. You may offer anything you like - candy, snacks, drinks, swag, etc. to anyone who will come and trick-or-treat at your door. Enjoy Halloween festivities while getting to know your office neighbours and learning more about each other. Costumes are encouraged!

TOA Berlin
TOA Berlin Europe's leading interdisciplinary technology, music, art, and science festival is coming to Los Angeles! On November 4th, TOA is hosting its first international event in LA: an invite-only gathering of inspirational thought-leaders. Hackaday SuperConference 2016
The Hackaday SuperConference is a gathering of hardware hackers, builders, engineers and enthusiasts. It's halfway between an industry conference and a "Bring-a-Hack" get-together...but extended into a 2-day event. Talks and workshops will cover hardware, engineering, creativity in technical design, product design, prototyping (and more) and will be set against a backdrop of a new creative space, the Supplyframe DesignLab. SoCal Code Camp
Code Camp is a free event for developers to come and learn from their peers. This community driven event has become an international trend where peer groups of all platforms, programming languages and disciplines band together to bring content to the community. Who is speaking at Code Camp? YOU are, YOUR PEERS are, and YOUR LOCAL EXPERTS are all are welcome! This is a community event and one of the main purposes of the event is to have local community members step up and offer some cool presentations!
