I was born and raised just north of Atlanta, Georgia as the second of four children. I’m lucky to have wonderful parents who instilled in me a strong work ethic, good morals, confidence in myself and the courage to follow my dreams. Involved in a wide variety of high school activities (student council, basketball, even some beauty pageants), I discovered my true love…..math. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, but I absolutely love it. Having strong family ties to the Louisville area and learning of Bellarmine’s renowned Actuarial Science program, I decided to check it out as a potential college choice. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful campus, the multiple student activity options, and eccentric setting in the Highlands. I enjoyed four incredible years there and was actively involved in a variety of activities including multiple Student Council Positions, the Women's Leadership taskforce, participation on the Student Activity council, and involvement as a Sorority Leader. I completed my degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Actuarial Science and a minor in Economics and was ready to get to work.
Upon graduation, I accepted a Louisville position with Mercer, a fortune 500 company leader in the Retirement Industry. Mercer’s excellent training program combined with ever increasing responsibilities enabled me to hone my retirement plan knowledge. In my time there, I learned both the technical requirements and administrative perspective of the 401(k) industry. I also had opportunity to work with and help people… which is my true passion. I left Mercer to work for ADP, another Retirement Plan magnate, where I further developed my knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of retirement plans and the importance of process and structure.
Outside of the office, I can be found exploring all Louisville has to offer with my fiancé, Jason. We’re frequently at concerts, trying new restaurants, and most recently, wedding planning. We’re active individuals who enjoy Crossfit, visiting the parks, and our weekly kickball league. I love to travel and am so happy to have found a partner who feels the same. Some of our more memorable trips include white water rafting in West Virginia and going to a game at every ball field at MLB spring training in Arizona….we’re just getting started.
I’ve known Gavin and Andrea Gleason long before the creation of the Gleason Group. At the Gleason Group, we’re all a family, however in my specific case, we’re literally family as Andrea is my first cousin (My mom Lora and her dad Fred are brother and sister). I love the company and firmly believe in the core values and principles that represent the foundation of what we do and who we are. At the Gleason Group, we have a variety of talents, skills and experience, but at our core, we share a passion for helping people and enriching lives… and we simply love what we do. I’m honored and excited to be newest member of the Gleason Group and look forward to utilizing my experience, skills and enthusiasm in collaboration with our team to provide a ridiculously awesome client experience!
