Baker House Face Lift Continues:

A big THANK YOU to the Webster and SLU volunteers for all of the hard work they put into a painting project at Baker House! With their help, all interior railings and doors were painted, and 4 apartments got a coat of paint, including walls and trim.

It's Socktoberfest at The Center for Women in Transition!

Please consider donating new and gently used coats, socks, gloves, and scarfs for women and children and help keep them warm this winter. Donations can be dropped off at the main office during regular business hours.
Gender Impacts Symposium
The symposium, Gender Impacts: Women and the Criminal Justice System, was a huge success! Speakers like Judge Richard Webber, Amy Lorenz-Moser, and Julie Kemper addressed issues that women and the families they leave behind face when they go to prison, and when they are released. The event sold out and included panel discussions which featured two Center for Women in Transition Staff members, Stefanie Moore and Romarilyn Ralston (who recently took a position with Project Rebound in California). Click here to see Sarah Gyorog's reflections on the event.
Partners in Giving Donation
Thank you to Weiss Insurance and Nationwide for their generous donation of $10,000! This will go a long way in supporting women as they transition to their communities. Click here to see the full press release.
Thank you to our grant funding organizations!
Certain project costs have been underwritten by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Neighborhood Assistance Program.
