I don't know about you, but I felt both encouraged and challenged by Pastor Sef's message on Sunday - especially the quote 'Vision is not self-seeking'. It's so easy in this cut throat world to put our own agenda first, however, as followers of Christ we need to seek Him and His vision for our lives, and trust that it is good. We have these promises from the Bible:
'For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."' Jeremiah 29 v 11-13 (NLT)
'And don't be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don't worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need." Luke 12 v 29-31 (NLT)
Be blessed as you seek Him this week - with love, Debbie
