The annual Ennis Book Club Festival is back from 03-05 March 2017. Just 18 weeks to go!  Time to plan that spring journey to Ennis for our annual feast of reading and friendship at Ireland’s only dedicated Book Club Festival.  
 
Over recent months we’ve been beavering away on preparations for 2017.  We’ve lots of exciting plans in the pipeline, which we’ll unveil over the coming weeks.  To be the first in the know, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter and register for our monthly newsletter on: www.ennisbookclubfestival.com.

2017 EBCF Artistic Director

We’re delighted to welcome Paul Perry on board as Artistic Director for the Festival in 2017. Paul is the author of five critically acclaimed collections of poetry, including, most recently, Gunpowder Valentine.  Writing under the pseudonym, Karen Perry, he is also the co-author of three bestselling psychological thrillers published by Penguin Random House, the most recent of which is Girl Unknown

His love of books has made him a life-long reader, as well as a writer, an activist and curator of literary events throughout Ireland.
