Welcome to the Lea County 4-H Council Update!!
 

Thank you to everyone who came to last night's council meeting! We elected officers for the 2016-2017 4-H Year! 

President- Madison Baker
Vice President- Chapley Sellers 
Secretary- Ayden Williams
Treasurer- Fernando Loflin 
Reporter- Ethan Kneese
Song & Recreational Leaders- John Allen Wier & Gabby Duenez 


Everyone is invited to County Council Meetings! These meetings are where we decide on County 4-H Activities and other 4-H related business.

Member in Good Standing Requirements to 
Compete in State & National Competitions & to Receive Funding for National Trips:

 
1)  Must attend four (4) 4-H club meetings a year (Shooting Sport Practice & Horse Practice DO NOT count as meetings) 

2)  Do a demonstration in one of your project areas 

3) Exhibit at the Fair (i.e Posters, indoor, animal) 

4) Turn in a completion Record Book 
Record Book's are due
November 15, 2016
by 5:00 pm to the Extension Office 


NOTICE: Effective October 2014 Record Books in Lea County are no longer a requirement. However, individual clubs and special interest groups (i.e.Shooting Sports, Horse)  may require a Record Book  in order to participate. 
Enrollment and Re-Enrollment forms
are now ready for Club Leaders to pick up! 

 
1) They are due February 1, 2017
2) Projects can be added until May 1, 2017
3) The sooner enrollment forms get turned back into us the faster you get your project materials and we get your information updated.
