Are you interested in working for your national professional association? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in Ottawa as SAC's Director of Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Health Assistants.

The Director of Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Health Assistants will provide leadership and expertise in issues related to speech-language pathology and communication health assistants.
Working in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and the senior management team, the selected candidate will help develop and implement program initiatives that promote SAC’s position on professional issues.
The selected candidate will have at least 10 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology and will serve as the association’s lead speech-language pathology content expert. This is a permanent position with the option to work a four or five day work week. Candidates must be an SAC certified speech-language pathologist at the time of application.

We would also like to take the opportunity to recognize Carla Di Gironimo, MS, S-LP(C), CCC-SLP for her contribution to her profession as the Director of Speech-Language Pathology and Standards. Carla left SAC last month to pursue the next chapter of her career in Montreal. During her time at SAC, Carla was responsible for our clinical certification program and applied her personal expertise to issues related to professional standards, such as ethics and position papers. She also worked to build relationships between SAC and other associations and governing bodies.
