FAQ

Can I sell my artwork?

Absolutely! We encourage all artists to include prices with their work. ARTSCO will broker the sales for a 20% commission fee to cover our admin costs.

I live out of town, can I apply?

We are looking for submissions from artists who live and work within the Okanagan Valley. Preference will be given to artists who live in the Central Okanagan – Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna and Lake Country. We discourage submissions from anyone living beyond the Thompson Okanagan region. We do not accept application from out of province.

What if I’m out of town during installation?

Our preference would be to have someone else, a friend or family member, drop off your work on your behalf at the designated time and place. If this doesn’t work, please contact us to make other arrangements.

Who is jurying the work and how will the work be juried?

ARTSCO’s Artscape exhibition will be juried by ARTSCO’s Katie Brennan – the former Curator of the Lake Country Art Gallery, and ARTSCO’s curatorial intern Nicole Young. ARTSCO’s goal for this exhibition is to provide local professional and emerging artists with special exhibition opportunities, and as such the jurying focus will be on  artworks of a high quality standard. Artists of any level and age are welcome and encouraged to apply.
