Prayers for the Freeman family Jackie passed away October 17. A memorial service for Jackie will be held this Saturday, October 29 at 1 p.m..

Please join us this Sunday as Pastor Katie shares her sabbatical experiences after worship. 

Youth Rock Climbing Sunday, meet at MPC at 6 p.m. if you want a ride. We will begin climbing at 7 p.m. at Circuit Bouldering Gym in Tigard, $10. Chaperones are welcome to climb too!

Sabina’s Trick-or-Treat Come trick-or-treat with the kids of MPC! On Mon. Oct. 31 (Halloween) meet in the parking lot at 5:30 p.m. and start walking at 6 p.m. There will be a rain contingency plan, if the weather demands it. This is a fun way to make memories as a congregation and safely enjoy the evening. 

Sheltering Our Neighbor Network From Nov. 6 – 20 MPC will host families who are on the waiting list to stay at the Annie Ross House. Volunteers needed – discuss ways to help with Linda Marquam and visit the sign-up table after church. If you’d like to contribute with a donation for expenses such as gift cards, phone minutes, diapers/baby wipes, etc. just mark SON on your check.

Thank you all for your donations to the Backpack Buddies Breakfast for All Campaign. Two months’ worth of peanut butter, cereal, raisins, and oatmeal have now been delivered to Oak Grove Elementary to feed hungry students on the weekends.

4th Annual MPC Craft Fair On Nov. 5 the Craft Fair will sparkle for you! Come by the table Sunday for a preview of goods that will be available for sale and check out the raffle baskets!

2016 Collins Lecture Redeeming the Soul of America: Race, Justice and Reconciliation with the Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III. Thursday, November 3 @ Concordia University. In the midst of growing polarization and divisiveness in our state and the nation, people of faith are called to address issues of racism, injustice, inequality and discrimination.
