October Life Together

Our life together as we follow Jesus

CALENDAR

Prayer Journal from this week, October 16 until today

SUNDAY - 10/16
From Jim and Maggie Grosshuesch
Please pray for Elsie Grosshuesch, our special needs grand daughter who has Costello's Syndrome. Tomorrow Elsie is having a echo cardiogram and having her quarterly scan for cancer. Children with Costello's have a higher risk of cancer.  Thank you for your prayers
FRIDAY - 10/21
Please pray for Pastor David, Heidi Elliott, Mackenzie Nelson and Zach Gustafson as they lead and mentor students this weekend at Fall Fling. Pray for the 24 students who will be attending the Fall Fling Retreat at Camp Shamineau this weekend. Several of which have never been to a camp or retreat like this. Pray as the Lord leads you for His work and will to be accomplished in this ministry. There are five Fall Fling Retreats because of this events popularity.
The group leaves around 5:30 p.m. today and returns on Sunday afternoon.
From Tom St. Aubin
Prayer update for my cousin’s husband, Rich Schwartz. He’s been in the hospital the last two weeks. He is having blood transfusions every day. He has experienced some kidney damage. Please pray for encouragement and strength for all involved, as well.
Next week on the prayer chain updates we will include praises and prayer request from our recent congregational meeting.

From Lani Bixby
Atticus Bixby, now in college, is in need of a vehicle. His current one is on its last leg. Please let us know of you're aware of a dependable and affordable one. Thank you!
From Shelley Falk
I need to find a new home for 2 cats due to change in living circumstances. One is "Duke" who is a 2 yr old Siamese who has been neutered and up to date with the vet. He is very shy at first, but warms up with time.  "Nala" is a 2 yr old part Siamese is spayed, and very friendly and loves to play. They have been raised together and I prefer them to stay together. They have been outside on leashes only but they could be ok without as well. This is a very difficult transition for me and want them to be in an environment where they will receive attention and love. They are great companions. If you are interested, please call Shelley Falk at (952) 221-5868 between Noon and 5 p.m. only during weekdays, anytime on the weekend. Thank you.
