DISTRICT 13 CRIME REPORT

This is a summary of the weekly crime report for District 13 as published by the St. Paul Police Department (SPPD). 
This chart illustrates the number of incidents in each category according to grid reference. (see Police Grid Reference Map)

PROPERTY: Theft, Burglary, Arson, or Vandalism

47 incidents of crimes against property (98% of the total)


47% of property crime in District 13 this week is shoplifting.

PERSONS: Assault, Rape, or Robbery

0 incidents of crimes against persons (0% of the total)


SOCIETY: Narcotics, Firearm discharge, Drunkenness, etc.

1 incidents of crimes against society (2% of the total)


One narcotics incident.

*NOTES:
  • "Highway robbery" refers to robberies that occur in streets or alleys, generally in view of law enforcement patrol but outside structures. "Strong arm" robberies are those where only personal weapons (hands, fists, feet) are used.
  • Incidents in grids 82-87, 107 & 127 are not technically within DC13, but are sometimes included on the police report. These incidents occur on the north side of University Avenue, just over the northern boundary of DC13, or the east side of Lexington Avenue, just over the eastern boundary of DC13. (If included, we've aggregated them into their corresponding DC13 grids of 102-106 & 126.)
District 13 is Union Park and corresponds to grids 101-106 and 122-126 on the Police Grid Reference Map.
