In the next week we will introduce a new version of our software. EDGE Version 2.0.0 will feature an enhanced Materials section that includes the following:
- A much larger selection of materials for each building element.
- The capability to select more than one building material for walls, windows and flooring.
- An improved building materials database.
A few helpful hints as you navigate to the new version of the software:
- Projects created in Version 1.0.0 can be opened in Version 2.0.0 by selecting an existing project.
- Projects created or saved in Version 2.0.0 cannot be opened in Version 1.0.0.
- If you open a previously saved project in Version 2.0.0 your results may be impacted due to the improved building materials database. For this reason, Version 1.0.0 projects registered and under certification review can be certified for a period of up to four years.
- You will be able to choose between Version 1.0.0 and Version 2.0.0 during the next 6 months, at which time new project registration for certification under Version 1.0.0 will be closed.
