If you are designing green homes, you can now use the EDGE software to predict the Incremental Cost and Payback in Years of selected green measures. You will find these calculations in the green results tab at the top of your screen:
In addition, the User Guides Version 2.0 are now available in the EDGE software. The new user guides feature an enhanced Materials section that includes the following:
- A much larger selection of materials for each building element.
- An Appendix that includes a description of the material or construction technique supported with a visual swatch.
- Constraints such as minimum and maximum thickness, and the default thickness.
- Embodied Energy of the material or construction assembly.
