euspen is pleased to announce that the programme for the upcoming Special Interest Group on Structured and Freeform Surfaces is now formulated and live.
Held 9-10 November 2016 at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen, any colleagues wishing to register to attend, or any authors / contributors at the event should register NOW.
The event covers all the key areas of research and development in the area of metrology and replication processes associated with complex surfaces, and the critical nature of issues pertaining to structured and freeform surfaces will ensure that this event will be full of information concerning advances in this area of precision engineering.
The event provides a high quality programme of papers as well as tutorials and company tours around the Technical University of Denmark, nearby NIL Technology ApS, and Dansk Fundamental Metrologi A/S. We are also delighted to announce that this year’s keynote addresses will be given by Theodor Nielsen from NIL Technology looking at nanostructures from CMOS processing to plastic consumer products, and Dr Ramona Eberhardt from Fraunhofer IOP looking at current challenges in manufacturing and application of freeform optics.
