Fall Clean Up

The Athletic Department has scheduled the Annual Fall Clean Up service activity for Saturday, November 5 from 9:00 a.m. to approximately noon. As a gesture of gratitude to our neighbors who put up with parking congestion, lights, and noises from our athletic events held on Wingerd Field, student-athletes rake the front yards of those houses within a block of the field. We hope that student-athletes from all sports will join us in this great service opportunity to help those in our community. Student volunteers should meet in the Commons at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 5. Please bring rakes and dress appropriately for the weather.  Please sign-up in the Athletic Office. Questions? Contact Dan Willaert at dwillaert@c-dh.org.

Volunteers Needed:

Food To Hogs - We were given the opportunity to volunteer in the cafeteria from 11:05 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. to help with a new project called "Food to Hogs”.  Introduced to CDH by teacher Mr. Rob Peick, and our Student Council Presidents, this program has caught the attention of many of our students!  Essentially, it’s managing food waste and recycling during the lunch periods and guiding the students. It was amazing to watch how educated and aware the kids are at following the rules of recycling knowing this simple act will help them care for our environment! Sign up, come visit your kids and make the world a better place!

Father-Son Banquet Chair & Co-Chair needed to keep event going. The Parents’ Association is in need of a Chair and Co-Chairs for our annual Father-Son Banquet. The event is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 19, but we need a Chair and Co-Chair for this long standing event. If you are interested please contact the Parents’ Association President Erin Schneeman at schneeman10@comcast.net.

The Parents’ Association is already up and running, but we need your help.  Most chairs and co-chairs are already in place, but we need many volunteers to make each event a success! Volunteer online today!

Parents’ Association Dues -Please help support annual PA events!

The PA events, which were subsidized significantly by the Target Red Card contributions, will need some financial backing from all of us at CDH. now that Target has discontinued this program. With that in mind, we are asking each family to pay  Parents’ Association dues of $30 per family. This will help us to keep the cost of attendance at our events affordable for all and allow us to continue the great traditions that we have been able to enjoy for many years. Support us now.  Thank you for supporting the CDH Parents’ Association!
