Operation Christmas Child:
St John's is once again participating in Operation Christmas Child. This outreach program is a great opportunity to make a difference in the life of a less fortunate child.
Operation Christmas Child boxes are located on a table in Hauser Hall. Inside each box is a list of suggested items to pack for a boy or a girl, along with packing instructions. In addition, there is an envelope to place a check for $7.00 to help with the cost of shipping and handling.
We will have the blessing of the boxes at the 10:30 am church service on November 20th; please turn in filled boxes by that Sunday prior to the service. You can also drop off the filled boxes at the church any time prior to November 20th. They can be placed on a table in the church library.
If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Lenora Chandler by email at LChandler@nc.rr.com or by phone 910-482-0253.

Children's Chapel
We are looking for volunteers to help with Children's Chapel. Two adults are needed every Sunday from 10:25-11:00. Our volunteers rotate so that you only have to help one Sunday every month or so. The lessons are already prepared, so you can just show up and follow the lesson! This is a very important and necessary ministry for our children to have during the church service. Please contact Claire Hedgecoe st chedgecoe@gmail.com if you are interested in helping.
