'Super Cooper' visits Saturday Play Club
Local resident John Byatt (aka Super Cooper) visited the Accuro Saturday Play Club to present a cheque for £200 on behalf of Saffron Walden Music Hall Society.
The money is the proceeds of a raffle at ‘Life is a Happy Song’, the society's latest production at Saffron Walden Town Hall.
The production was compiled and produced by Cheryl Waters, Maureen Gypps and Mollie Blake.
Saffron Walden Music Hall Society was formed in 1972 to promote and present many of the acts from the original days of British music hall and variety shows.
