Finalising Your Booking for KIJ2017...
With over 200 Contingent Groups now booked to attend The Kent Scouts International Jamboree 2017, spaces are filling up quickly! We are going to be welcoming overseas contingents from Pakistan, Zambia, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Brazil, India, Norway, Ireland, Bangladesh, Belgium, Guernsey, France, Uganda, Cameroon, Kenya, Tunisia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Egypt, Morocco, Nepal, Sudan, Finland, Estonia, Switzerland, Jersey & Ukraine.
To ensure your contingent are all set to join in with our week of Fun, Friends & Adventure, we now ask that you look to finalise your numbers, confirm your booking and pay the deposit of £20GBP per person. Contingents that have not paid their deposit by the 30th November 2016 could face loosing their space.
We ask that where possible you can fill in as many of your participants details as possible, and confirm the participant type, i.e. Scout/Explorer/Guide/Senior Section. Group Leaders are able to revisit this section after the booking has been confirmed to complete the Consent and Health forms.
We had already had a number of local groups offer to host & offer shared equipment with contingents joining us from overseas. If you are also able to help support these contingents please get in touch here
What's Next:
- Ensure your deposits of £20GBP per person are paid as soon as possible - Deadline is 30th November 2016
- Contingents sharing kit with other groups or have specific camping pitch requests, please email the Subcamp Team as soon as possible
- Start to gather each of your participants personal details and consent forms and enter them into the system. A paper copy is available here to help gather the information
