Spaghetti Dinner

Mark your calendar for Friday, November 11 and join us for an authentic, homemade spaghetti dinner prepared by the teachers, board members, and volunteers from Community Preschool. Arrive anytime between 5:30–7:00 p.m. In lieu of tickets, donations will be accepted at the door.

Don’t miss this chance to feed your family a delicious meal and socialize with classmates and their families.  Ms. Jodie will also be doing face painting.

This year, we’re offering a Bake Sale of desserts, baked or bought with love (all still need to be nut free). You can contribute your own dessert by bringing it to school on Friday morning, or when you arrive for dinner on Friday evening.

School Pictures

The individual and class pictures are being processed by Photography by Van Pelt, and your orders will be ready before Thanksgiving. After the pictures have been distributed, we would appreciate you taking the time to fill out a survey about the process, the photographer, and the photos. We’ll have more information about the survey in the December newsletter.

Thanksgiving Feasts for 4s Classes

The four-year-olds will be preparing food and celebrating with a Thanksgiving feast this month. Every child may invite one guest to attend this event. Guests may arrive shortly before the feast time in their child’s class, sign their child out, and join the class in the gym. Afternoon class will have their feast before class. This is a special day for all of us and we look forward to seeing everyone. Please see your child’s teacher for further information.

Easy, Everyday Fundraising

You can help raise funds simply by purchasing products you use anyway.

Buy a gift card for King Soopers or Safeway for $5. (The beginning balance is $5.) Add to the balance and use it whenever you shop, and the school receives 5% back from your purchases, including groceries and gas. Consider getting cards for family and friends, and their purchases will also benefit Community Preschool.

Save your Morning Fresh Dairy milk caps and drop them in the collection box at school. We earn $50 for every 1,000 milk caps collected.

Purchase a Papa Murphy’s pizza coupon card for $10 and use it for great dinner discounts.

Save a bookmark for http://smile.amazon.com/ch/84-0612975, and use it when you shop on Amazon. Then 0.5% of your purchases will come back as a donation to our school.

If you’d like to purchase a grocery card for either King Soopers or
Safeway, or a Papa Murphy’s pizza coupon card, you can email our Development Coordinator, Myriah, or ask one of the teachers.

Mrs. Martinez 4s Class

A friendly reminder that a new or used white pillowcase is needed for each student in Mrs. Martinez’s 4s classes. Please see Mrs. Martinez if you have any questions.

Also, after the Christmas sing-a-long on Tuesday, December 20th, there will be no afternoon 4s class. Further information will be provided by Mrs. Martinez as we get closer to the date.

Scholastic Book Order Due November 28

Please contact our School Administrator, Ms. Tammy, with any questions.

The book order for the month of November is due on Monday, November 28.

Teachers’ Supply Wish List

Our teachers would appreciate it if you have any of these items that you would be willing to donate to the preschool.

Miss Jill
25 small empty water bottles with lids
100–150 pennies

Studio Vino Parents Night Out Success

We had great fun painting and chatting at Studio Vino. In the process, we raised $460 for Community Preschool.

Thank You

A very special thank you goes out to The Hasting-Poe Family who donated copy paper and also to the Hust Family who donated a lot of cups, napkins and silverware to our school.

Also, Ms. Tammy has earned a well-deserved thank you for completing a huge project required by the state. She worked very long and hard to get it done, and we are very grateful.

Run-Hide-Fight

Our teachers completed a safety training with the Loveland Police Department titled “Run-Hide-Fight.” They learned a lot of valuable information. If anyone has questions, just ask the teachers!
