Greetings Readers,

We hope you are having a productive fall season. With Thanksgiving coming soon, it seems appropriate to give thanks for the bounty of our region-- the Northwest supports an incredibly diverse array of cropland and livestock systems. And particularly, we’d like to give thanks to the hard-working and forward-looking community of producers, researchers, and agency personnel in the Northwest working to support sustainable, climate-smart and climate-friendly agriculture. When we join our families for a Thanksgiving feast we'll be thinking about the role that Northwest producers play in providing wheat, cranberries, potatoes, onions, peas and many other staples of the season!

At AgClimate.net we've covered a wide array of topics, including climate futures through past experiences, plant respiration responses to a warming atmosphere, lessons on agricultural extension, methods for projecting climate change impacts on wheat, and upcoming events to keep on your radar.

Happy reading!
From your AgClimate team
