Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association
Villa del Monte Winery is proud to be a new member of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association. This association hosts many popular events including the Vintners’ Festival, Pinot Paradise, and the Santa Cruz Mountains Wine Express.
February 9: Downtown Campbell Winter Wine Walk
We will be pouring Chardonnay, Pinot, and Merlot in downtown Campbell on February 9 from 5 to 9 p.m.
February 22: Ultimate Winemakers Dinner
Taste wine from 15+ wineries, including Villa del Monte Winery, and then dine with our winemakers, John Overstreet and Neil Perrelli, at the spectacular Shadowbrook Restaurant in Capitola. Request a seat at our table when you make your reservation.
March 8: Dine with the Winemaker
Celebrate Mardi Gras with Villa del Monte Winery! We will be featured at Dine with the Winemaker on March 8 at Viva restaurant in Los Gatos. Pinot, Merlot, Cabernet, and two different Chardonnay wines will be available by the taste, the glass, or the bottle to enjoy with your dinner.
Wine and food pairings
Susan Ward Tarner, host of a featured cooking show on Helena Civic Television called Cooking with Susan, Slow Food, Montana Style, has paired Villa del Monte wines with some of her favorite winter recipes.
2009 Syrah Rosé
Good for us—not so good for you. The 2009 Syrah Rosé is sold out, but don’t worry, we will soon be bottling the 2010 Syrah Rosé. This delightful wine will be ready for you to enjoy in the summer of 2011.
