Dear family, friends and supporters,

As many of you know I have been travelling to every national park and unprotected area within cooee of Sydney, battling wind and rain painting 'en plein air' for my upcoming exhibition at Chrissie Cotter Gallery. I'm really excited by the direction my work is taking and look forward to seeing it up in the gallery space.

I've had an exciting year being accepted into the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize at the South Australian Museum, and the NSW Parliament Plein Air Prize. I've also, finally, installed my wild creature sculptures at the Lachlans Line development in North Ryde, a long 2 year process! Below is one of three sculptures based on the native animals in that area. Having been so busy with these commissions I haven't had time to do sculptures for this exhibition. So if you were looking forward to more sculpture you will have to wait!

Some of you have been asking for prices, the paintings will range from $550 for smaller works 40 x 40cm up to $1700 for the larger pieces, 90 x 120cm.

I'm really looking forward to a well earned beverage with you all, so hope to see you there on opening night Thursday 1st December 6-8pm. Beginning of the party season!

It's open for two weekends only, Thursday to Sunday 1-11 December, so drop in for a chat if you can't make the opening.
