Dare to Share Food Drive is Coming!
Recent news stories in our local papers have drawn attention to Share Food Bank’s desperate need for donations especially at this time of the year. The Kindergarten and Grade Seven classes will be sponsoring a school wide “DARE TO SHARE” food bank collection the week of November 21st to November 25th. Please bring non-perishable food items to your classroom – as much as you can and for as many days as you can! Please do your best to ensure that the food you donate has not expired. The Kindergarten classes with their Grade Seven buddies will count the number of food items brought by each class every day and the total number will be recorded on a chart on our service bulletin board outside the staffroom. At the end of the week, the class who has brought in the most food items will be treated to a non-uniform day to celebrate their efforts.
