The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and Hester Street Collaborative have launched CREATE NYC, New York City’s first-ever comprehensive cultural planning process. And NOCD-NY is excited to be a partner. The Queens workshop is the first in a series of events taking place in all five boroughs in the coming months to build our understanding of New Yorkers’ priorities. For artists and people working in arts and culture, this will also be an opportunity to learn about and contribute ideas for a series of topic specific focus groups ranging from space for artists to arts education to neighborhood preservation that will begin before the end of the year.
