IIBS Membership
IB Schools are encouraged to join IIBS as members. Membership benefits include reduced rates for educator workshops and participation in coordinator and principal meetings. Membership fees enable IIBS to help support IB educators, students, and schools through various events: IB College Fair, IB Orientation Seminar for University Representatives, and IB Educator Workshops. Membership payments are due by December 31, 2016 and are $150 per authorized program. Schools with no authorized programs that are applying for the IB are invited to join as provisional members. Membership payments via credit card can be processed online via this link. We will accept membership payments by check at the December 16th Networking Session.
Additional Online Payment Info
You can elect to pay by check using the website. Once the check is received, you will be mailed a receipt. If you are paying by credit card, the receipt is available immediately; there is a 4.95% processing charge for credit card payments.
To add more than one program to the membership payment site, click on "Add Another Person" under the Membership Fees tab. Then, add details for the coordinator of the additional program. If the coordinator is the same for both programs, simply include duplicate information.

IB Credit Policy Workshop - Monday, December 12, 2016
Following the successful passing of SB2505, which requires all public post-secondary institutions to issue college credit for IB subject scores of 4 or higher, IIBS is hosting a workshop to help university representatives craft or revise their IB credit policies. Marie Vivas, IBO's University Relations Manager, will provide detailed insights on the structure and demands of the IB Diploma and Career Programmes. Participants will also review the standard of IB student work for the most popular IB courses from each subject group. University representatives can register here for the workshop on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Loyola University's Water Tower Campus.
