CATMA Hosts 7th ETC Network Event!

Thank you to all the ETCs who helped make this our largest and most productive gathering yet! We especially want to thank our new ETC members, our guest presenters, and each of you who help make this growing Network so valuable for the community!

For anyone interested in setting up a vanpool, or learning more about this State-subsidized sustainable commute resource, or if you would like copies of the takeaways and notes from the focus groups, please contact Brendan@catmavt.org.

If you did not receive the new ETC Commuter Guide and would like a copy so you can help your colleagues get to work sustainably, let us know and we'll be happy to send one over!

Green Mountain Transit (formerly CCTA) now uses real-time tracking, so you know exactly when your bus will arrive! You can download Route Shout 2.0 for free on your smart phone app store, or access the system-wide map at RideGMT.com.

Planning a long trip or short commute? Check our TravelSmarterVT to get directions and see the impact time, cost, and calories  of the commuting choices you make. Thanks to all of you who provided feedback for this tool!
 

Button Up Vermont

Join thousands of Vermonters buttoning up to outsmart winter. There are many simple steps individuals can take your home and commute to save energy! There are events all around the state. You can also create a custom list of energy-saving strategies and watch instructional videos. And there's one last chance to win $50 to your local hardware store by sending in a photo of something you did to save energy

CATMA congratulates the following ETC Network Members for their impressive efforts during Way to Go! Week. We had over 32 ETC members participate, with several taking home the Carbon Cup!

Upcoming Events

Transportation Board Holds Burlington Forum on Rail
The Vermont Transportation Board will hold a public forum in Burlington on transportation policy associated with trains, both passenger and freight. Topics including passenger rail expansion to Montreal and New York, starting commuter rail service to St. Albans and Montpelier, living with railroads as neighbors, and rail-side economic development.
