Hi All!
Here’s your weekly dose of FIVER FRIDAY, a list of what I've found useful or informational this week concerning education.
Idea I'm thinking about--
How Librarians Hold the Key to Future Ready Schools. There are many challenges and opportunities (i.e. "chopportunities") ahead, and it's important to investigate how school libraries can help.
Post I'm reading--
3 TVs and No Food: Growing Up Poor in America.
Books I've begun reading--
A Framework for Understanding Poverty by Ruby K. Payne. I'm sure many of you have read this book, but I'm diving in for the first time. Extremely insightful--a necessary read.
Another post I'm reading--
This post pairs well with A Framework for Understanding Poverty.
Quote I'm pondering--
“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” ― Leo Tolstoy
