Habitat III and the New Urban Agenda

Every 20 years, the United Nations convenes a global cities summit. Habitat III took place in October 2016 in Quito, Equador and drew nearly 40,000 participants.

AAO Member the American Planning Association was one of the organizations that made recommendations on the New Urban Agenda, the manifesto that was adopted in Quito.
