IFFA in Melbourne

IFFA's moved on to Melbourne having the jam packed five days of cinema love. Closing with Lantouri 1st November, screenings of I and My Brother, Khosrow on Monday View the schedule here.

Melbourne was the exclusive venue for our premiere of documentarian Seifollah Samadian's 76 minutes and 15 Seconds, a tribute to the late Abbas Kiarostami. A rare treat! ACMI also hosted film scholar Dr. Alex Fischer, who presented his lecture Framing a Dynasty which explored the cinematic language used by the British and Soviet Union colonial empires to document the reality of Qajar-era Persia - a rare glimpse into history as represented by a cinephile!

Films are showing until 1 November at ACMI.
