Testing Platform goes live

Our new testing platform lets you check the compliance of devices to the RadioDNS technical specifications

Hello,

We want RadioDNS to work brilliantly for everyone, which means protecting the integrity of our technical standards.

Our new testing platform is designed to check that devices properly follow the standards and behave as expected. It guides you through a detailed series of tests for the main RadioDNS functions. You can register to test different devices, firmware and functionality, and get test certificates.

We'll be setting up a process to allow certified devices to use the RadioDNS trademarks, so purchasers know they're getting a device that works properly.

This is the first part of a comprehensive testing system to allow manufacturers and developers of RadioDNS compliant products to visibly benefit from diligent technical work. We'll be announcing more during 2017.

If you'd like to use the testing platform, please contact the Project Office (feedback@radiodns.org) and we'll arrange for access and a guided tutorial on how to use it.

Your membership of RadioDNS enables initiatives like this, which secure an open and interoperable hybrid radio system which benefits broadcasters, listeners and manufacturers. We'll be sending you a review soon of what your support has allowed us to achieve in 2016 and how we're going to develop RadioDNS more in 2017.
