HC Happenings

Sophomore Winternship Applications Due Tuesday, November 8!

Apply for a week-long project-based externship or a one- to two-day medical shadowing experience over winter break! Read more about available programs. Below are a few sample opportunities:

› Medical Wintership Sample: Experience a day-in-the-life of an Ob/Gyn from observing rounds and surgery at the hospital to seeing patients in the office. If patients are in labor, there will be an opportunity to witness a delivery and/or Cesarean section. Throughout the day, emphasis will be placed on experiencing both the provider-patient relationship and the team approach of all involved healthcare professionals.

› Project-Based Wintership Sample: Learn about the competitive equestrian world through a project-based externship at the United States Equestrian Team Foundation. Your focus will be on evaluating print and web communications and providing the foundation with findings and recommendations. This is a great opportunity for a student who would like to pursue a career in communications and/or fundraising and has a passion for equestrian sport.
