Winter Registration Dates
Winter fun starts here! Events in the Winter 2017 Activity Guide include Daddy Daughter Dance and the Flashlight Egg Hunt. The Guide also includes deadlines for Bulldogs Lacrosse, Youth Baseball, Spring House Soccer, and more.

Free Week at Ackerman SFC
November 7th-11th from 1pm-3:30pm
During Free Week, non-members are invited to try the fitness center, walking track, and enjoy open gym/turf between the hours of 1pm and 3:30pm.
Free Week 2016 runs from November 7th to November 11th. Non-members must be age 14 years & older. Please check-in at the front desk. A photo ID is required at check-in.

Movie on the Turf: ZOOTOPIA
Friday, November 18 at 7pm
Come watch ZOOTOPIA (PG) on the indoor turf at Ackerman SFC! In a city inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, uptight rabbit police officer Judy Hopps is forced to work with charismatic fox con artist Nick Wilde to crack a major case involving the mysterious disappearance of some carnivorous citizens!

Chocolate, Cheese and Wine
Friday, November 18 from 4:30-8pm
Enjoy an evening of wine, chocolate and cheese samplings from around the world in a relaxed, elegant setting. Appetizers from local restaurants of an international variety will also be served in sampling size. The admission ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, wine tastings, and cheese/chocolate samples. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Glen Ellyn Park District’s scholarship fund.

Fall Break Trekkers
What better way for teens and tweens to shed the winter blues then with a trip to play Whirlyball, to enjoy laser tag at Main Event or to jump on the trampolines at Rockin Jump. Ages: 10-14.

Don't throw away those holiday lights! The Park District has once again partnered with Elgin Recycling to offer holiday lights recycling from November 21 through January 29.

Turkey Trot 5-Mile Predicto Race
Thursday, November 24 at 8am
Free to attend, this 5-mile run is open to all levels of runners. No pre-registration required, but a waiver must be signed prior to the start of the race.
This year, the Park District is once again teaming up with the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate!

2016-2017 Platform Tennis Membership On Sale Now!
Annual platform tennis memberships run from now thru August 31, 2017. Memberships include free platform tennis play year-round, online court reservations, key to the paddle hut, discounts for lessons and leagues, and guest fees. Memberships are available for adults, juniors, and families.
