The Young Bakers first steps in a professional Bakery and Pastry environment

Mid October is always both an exciting and questioning moment for the students. After a month and a half of intensive training, the Young Bakers are eager to use and develop their skills at work. They all started their internship at 5-star hotels or high standard French style bakeries in Shanghai.

Armed with high motivation, the Young Bakers passed by the door of these so well-known hotels and bakeries for the first time to start their 9 months’ internship. Just before starting their internship, the Young Bakers expressed some concerns, asking themselves and their teachers the right questions to get prepared in their new working environment.

At SYB, we truly believe in the potential of each student and we are convinced that if they work hard they will perform well in such demanding places as luxury hotel and high standard bakeries.

For the SYB team, the start of the internships is always a busy time while the students face the challenge with motivation and smile! Some of them will exceed their own expectations and this is in part due to the patience of their Chefs and the trust of our 9 partners. I would like to thank all of them for their support and together let’s do our best to give the Young Bakers a new chance in life!
