Allan O'Soup Health Concerns

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to bring you all up to date on my dad's (Allan O'Soup) recent health concerns. On the evening of November 5, Allan was eating supper at his home when he began feeling a tightness in his chest and a shortness of breath. He walked to his room and collapsed into his bed and passed out for a few brief moments. When he came to Carole was near his side and they made a decision to drive to the hospital in Yorkton. Upon arrival the doctors quickly determined he had a heart attack, but that he needed to be transported to the larger hospital in Saskatoon where they have a cardiac unit. His condition was stable, but the doctors made the decision to transfer him via ambulance and make the 350km drive to Saskatoon. Upon arrival in Saskatoon the cardiologist did some more tests and they realized it was actually more serious than originally thought. The cardiologist and surgeon have determined a heart surgery date for Monday, November 14. Currently my dad is in good spirits waiting for his surgery in the cardiac ward at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. The first thing he asked for was his Bible and reading glasses.

As most of you are aware, Allan and Carole receive virtually all of their financial support from his many speaking engagements where he preaches the Gospel message. My parents have lived by faith the past 30 years in full time ministry where God has provided for their every need. My siblings and I are calling on those who are his friends and family to keep them in your prayers and to think about financially supporting them during this time of need in their lives. Allan won't be able to resume his busy preaching schedule until 2-3 months after his surgery, even then he will have to slow down a lot. My parents have many financial needs that go beyond their own personal expenses. The church, k-12 school, and Bible School all financially depend on my parents to keep them running. I am asking for you to prayerfully consider supporting Allan and Carole financially during this time. A total raised of $30,000 would go a long ways to helping them keep on top of their many bills and expenses. All donations can be made through their website http://almondtreeministries.com/donate/  where you can donate with a credit card, or snail mail where the address is:
