CLiF Kickoff
Our kickoff for our Rural Libraries grant was a fun-filled day for Greenfield's children. In case you missed it, the library was packed, and the Ledger-Transcript covered it here: http://www.ledgertranscript.com/Love-of-reading-starts-young-5630134
Special thanks to CLiF and the Hersher Family Foundation for the thousands of dollars worth of books you gave to our community!

Book Club News
Children's Book Clubs from Pre-K through Grade 7!
We have added some more children's book clubs. Details below!
Some reminders:
- Please remember that our children's book clubs require SIGN-UPS so we plan accordingly and are limited to 10 children.
- Children coming by bus directly from GES require a LIBRARY permission slip, in addition to the school's requirements.
- Book Clubs are one area of library programming that we restrict, due to staffing, supplies and age appropriateness of content, so PLEASE do not expect us to add younger siblings to the group's activities. We offer many other mulit-age programs, and younger siblings have their own storytimes and book clubs. We really appreciate your cooperation in allowing our groups to meet without repeated interruptions of younger siblings.
Upcoming Meetings:
- PreK- Grade 1- Friday, November 11 at 3:40 pm (Yes, we are open for the holiday) The Dot
- Grades 2 - 4 - Friday, November 18 at 3:40 pm The Dinosaur Disaster
- Grades 4 - 5 - Wednesday, December 7 at 4:30 pm The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
- Grades 5 - 7 - Wednesday, December 14 at 4:45 pm (after late bus arrives) Breadcrumbs
- Books on the Edge (Adults) - Wednesday, November 16 at Noon - Fear of Dying by Erica Jong (No December meeting for either adult book group)

Library T-shirts to benefit our babies
We are offering for sale a very limited run of special Stephenson Memorial Library Long-sleeve T-shirts for children in time for the holidays. These shirts are on sale for $20 each, the net proceeds from which will help to pay for a baby diaper changing station for the Wensberg Room Rest Room. You may recall that we had a fundraiser last year to place a diaper station in the upstairs Rest Room, and our babies (and their caregivers) really appreciate it! Ms. Julie is modeling her T-shirt in this selfie, and the back of the shirt has our library name. Please see Ms. Julie to purchase a T-shirt for your child. They are available only while supplies last. Thank you!

Holiday Hours
OPEN Friday, November 11
Since the children are home from school on Veteran's day, we will remain open our normal hours, 2- 6 pm, so they can visit the library and learn why they have the day off. Our PreK- Grade 1 Book Club is still scheduled for that day at 3:40 pm.
Thanksgiving Hours
The Library will close early on Wednesday, November 23 at 5 pm, and be closed Thursday and Friday, November 24 - 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will have NORMAL HOURS on Saturday, November 26, 10 am - 4 pm.
