Today we met at the Veteran's Restoration Quarters and the director, Tim McElyea, spoke to our club.
- Over 240 men reside nightly on the VRQ campus, a former 125 room motel.
- Our veterans are provided housing, meals, case management services, counseling, laundry facilities, a computer lab, gym, chapel and transportation to VA Medical Center appointments.
- Every effort is made to provide each man with the tools, direction and encouragement needed to arrive at genuine success and full restoration.
- The VRQ serves only men, but women are given the same opportunities at the Steadfast House for women and children.

Marty, a resident veteran, and the intake coordinator, also spoke to us. He is very thankful to the many groups, like Kiwanis, which support ABCCM and the VQR. He credits them for saving his life.
