A special collaboration with Evergreen Ensemble
Where Nova Scotia collides with Terra Australis: Canada's Chris Norman and David Greenberg team up with Australia's only dedicated Scottish baroque band, Evergreen Ensemble, for a high-energy program of music from 18th-century Caledonia.
'Twas a time and place when soulful airs and merry jigs were heard alongside the latest compositions by Purcell, Correlli and Vivaldi. Tap your feet on a journey through driving traditional jigs 'n' reels of Cape Breton and intriguing pipe tunes of the border country in this delightful meeting of classical and folk music.
