Dear Friends,
I heard a quote this week from Pastor Mark Dever that I wanted to share with you: “Before and after America, there was and will be the church. The nation is an experiment. The church is a certainty.”
I believe this sentiment is an appropriate biblical mindset that Christians should have during this presidential election season. Our hope is not in America. Our hope is not in a president. Our hope is not in people. Our hope is in a Savior - one who is seated on the throne of the universe, ruling and reigning over His Church and interceding for the saints of God. That is our hope!
With that in mind, let us pray for our leaders. Let us pray for our country. But most of all, let us pray for the church - that we would be..."“a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9 ESV)
May God help us to be so! See you Sunday!

InFocus Ministry - InFocus is looking for volunteers who are willing to open their home for Thanksgiving to international students. Two students would be assigned to each home. If you are interested in serving in this way, please contact John Chisum at jpchisum@yahoo.com. Registration deadline is November 18th.
Ministry Opportunity to our College Students - On Tuesday, 11/29, Cornerstone will be mailing goody boxes to send our college students during final exam week. If you would like your student to receive a box, please send your student's full name, college, and full mailing address to the church office at office@cornerstone-pres.org We need the addresses no later than Friday, Nov. 26th. If you have any questions, contact the church office.

Church Directory - In order to create a church directory, we are asking each member to log in to your CCB account and review it for current information. (If you do not remember your log-in information, you may request a new one through CCB that will come directly to the church office.) Once you are logged in, please upload an individual photo or a family photo. If you need assistance with this or are unable to upload a photo, please send one to the church office and we will do it for you. Once we have all the information, all members will be given full access for use and a directory will be printed.
New Cornerstone App! - There is now a new way to connect with Cornerstone. Please visit the app store and search for “cpc Huntsville”. The custom app includes directions to our location, online giving, links to audio and video sermons, prayer requests, an online Bible and CCB.

College Exam Goody Boxes:
