What if blue represented Loyalty and red represented Love?
 
Why am I writing this to you? Because it's been ages since I've emailed and I want you to know that I have been working steadily and remain loyal to my love for all things creative.
 
Yes, last I wrote, I was looking at trash. That’s The Pareidolia Project! And it just debuted at P.S.58 in Brooklyn. It’s already a card game and book and I’m working on getting it into after-school curriculum.
 
You may be seeing me post Weaving and Knitting. Yes, that’s right, fiber! My 28 years of abstract color work is informing my eyes as my fingers and feet work the needles and loom to create objects d’art. These pieces are for your walls and for your floors, beds, tables and heads! Be careful about downplaying a dishcloth because the artistic brainpower that manifested that oil painting in your living room has just woven that towel.

And finally, my interest in people’s personal stories has led me to take on some rare commissions. In this process, I work intimately with family members to create a one-of-a-kind Heirloom Legacy Piece. I recently became a certified Personal Historian. Are you interested in telling your story?

So, yes, this holiday, you will find all sorts of seemingly non-related works coming from me. They may even have different brand names attached to them. Luckily, I’m not Coca-Cola introducing the New Coke and watching the world storm my corporate gates. What you’ve got here is a bonafide artist who is simply curious about all things creative. That is something I will be steadily offering you until the day I die: something thought up by me, designed by me and crafted by me. Whether it’s a painting, a hat, a rug or a crazy image of a piece of tissue. The brand is Me.
