2017 E - League - Start Training!

Coach Rebate - Great Prizes - Awesome Fun!

Have you been looking for something exciting to do? Get in to a team and start training for the 2017 E - League. The competition is designed for skydivers to participate, learn and fly some great skydives. 

Teams are now invited to participate in 4 way FS intermediate, 3 way FS novice, 2 way CF seq and 4 way CF rotations. Eligible teams in FS can apply to get a rebate of up to $1000 for intermediate and $500 for novice, for expenses relating to your coach.

To enter an intermediate FS team: Two of the team must not have won Inter or competed in the Open 4-Way event at the National level during the last five (5) years. The other two members and the videographer have no restrictions.  

To enter as a novice FS team: A novice skydiver must: Hold a Certificate A or B but, have no more than 120 skydives as at March 1st, 2017. You must also have passed Skill level 5 of the B - Rel Training Table and have written permission from your CI that you are permitted to compete and to jump with another novice that meets the same criteria. Your team must consist of one CI approved coach.

State Championships. Western Australia

4th - 6th November, 2016

The Qld, NSW and SA State Championships are wrapped up but, if you love to compete - get along to either Victoria or WA for some skydive comp. action!

WA - 4th - 6th November

The 2016 WA State Meet hosted by Skydive York and proudly supported by the West Australian Parachute Council will offer the following events:

4 way FS - Inter & Open
8 way FS
2 Way VFS - Inter
4 Way VFS
Artistic Wingsuit
Sports Accuracy

Prices for registration are $88 per person and team prices include the camera man registration. Please get your team Captain to register and pay on behalf of the team. 

Teams of individuals that wish to register for multiple events will only pay $33 per person rego for the second event as opposed to the standard $88 per person. Please use the 2nd event ticket option for this.

There will be a fancy dress party after the Medal Presentations, which will hopefully be on the Saturday night. 
Come as your favorite sports personality! The DZ will serve dinner on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday (if required) nights.

State Championships. Victoria/Tasmania

The VTPC State Championships is to be held at Commando Skydivers on the 12th and 13th Of November 2016 with a weather date of 18th and 19th November 2016.

• Craig Vaughan will be available as a ground coach and to help engineer and dirt dive your jumps on the 12th. 
• Stay tuned for start times, the draw will be published Friday night 11th November.
• Spit Roast dinner on the Saturday night, only $25 per head. To help with Catering, please call the DZ 1300555956 and let them know you will be having dinner.

The tandem master, like a pilot or captain, is in charge of the jump. Period!

First we must understand that jumping with a tandem is not an activity we should use to learn or practice approaches. You can accompany your friend/relative, but only once you understand and will control important details, and have a specific plan for this jump.

We can start with the fact that the passenger and Tandem Master have their jump under control and to be conducted in a completely safe manner. A third person flying around must not take over the jump, in case you change this important premise.

It is essential that people who want to jump with a tandem are experienced, capable skydivers who know what is required to make a safe, fun jump.
